Design Notes
To be compatible with Genabler assembly, the part has inward-facing EarI sites at the ends. When assembled by BioBrick assembly, five N-terminal residues MetAlaSerSerSer- and one C-terminal Ala residue will be added to the original sequence of BBa_K592009. When assembled with normal BioBrick assembly, the part contains a start and a stop codon, however, if Genabler assembly is used, the resulting part does not contain either of the codons. Such design enables to use standardised linkers that contain start and stop codons and variable upstream sequence in Genabler assembly.
Source
AmilCP is based on the BioBrick BBa_K592009.
